Strategy

  • Conducted review of over 100 life and disability Summary Plan Documents (SPDs), identifying more than 100 material errors and 40 out-of-date SPDs. Worked with legal counsel and vendors to rewrite and update documents.

  • Ensured all health and welfare plans complied with state and federal regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS Code Sections 125 and 105(c), ACA and local laws in Hawaii, San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, etc.
